Rock, Paper, Scissors Concept Phase

Here is my basic concept layout for the Rock, Paper, Scissors project. There are over ten different thumbnail sketches, all variations of concepts that i will most likely be using for the project.

My overall idea that I am thinking of putting together for the project is a retro 1950s fallout style Rock, Paper, Scissors game. Essentially, it will be very familiar to the Bethesda Game, "Fallout."

I'd like to go even further and include their mascot used in many of the promotional videos, and classic posters, and film reels seen throughout that game.

  1. I think it is an interesting choice to go with a fallout themed page which could be a good idea in the end.

  2. I really like the idea of using a mascot. I think that was very creative and a good way to build unity and allow the views to make connections. The retro look is a great idea because it will be easy to allow your graphics to match and enhance the overall look of your page. I really like your thumbnail sketches. Using the different shapes to kind of section off different portions of the paper is very creative and is going to look very nice in your final project!

  3. I love the fallout element you added into the game, because the first thing I thought was to just keep it simple as rock paper scissors, instead of going outside the box. One suggestion for your blog though would be to change the background on the blog, because it makes it very hard to read the text that you're trying to communicate in your post.

  4. Vinny DeStefano- i like the idea of using fallout as a picture reference, i wish i thought of that. I like that art style from that era in time so i think that this would rally bring the game to life.

  6. I really like the theme you are going for again for the humor of it. It is quite nice. It also seems that it'll just be simpler to explain. It is coming very nicely.

  7. Its simple, but could use a little more character to grab someone, the cartoon guy is nice but you can expand on it more
