This is a rough opening title screen for my game DUDLEYTOWN. A lot of the colors that i used were present in my mood board as well. Overall, I feel this sets the tone for the dark game that lays ahead. I wanted to jump right in and start animating as quickly as possible. While the title screen doesn't reveal much, it leaves the audience, or player, wanting to know more about the game, giving them that friendly nudge to press the start button. The forest photo was taken from google image and the text was a combination of adobe text and text from www.dafont.com. I added a satin overlay to give the background image dark burning look.
